I came, I saw, I left. That is what happen on my first ever visit to this bookfest. Too many people and I park too far. I did thought of buying a few books but the crowd queuing to pay was too long. It was evening and most of the crowd are Chinese interestingly. So we read more? Many leng luis as well, so after 15 minutes gazing I left the place.
I don't want to wait maybe an hour to buy a few books. It seems time wasting. Plus I haven't bought any books for more than a year. But that night I can't sleep even though it was past 1am. Maybe it was the extreme latte I had or frustration of DOTA keeping disconnecting..haha. I kinda wish I had some books to read that time.
So I return to the bookfest next day at night. There was no crowds at the entrance. Not many people around and its , that's good for me. Easier to browse the books and make payment. Took me just over half an over to get what I want. Paying was a breeze, less than 5 minutes.
I learnt my lesson, I will go at night the next year...haha. Free of the crowds. However, consider the cost, I parked in the convention centre, is RM 7 after 7pm. Entrance ticket RM 2. I park further earlier for RM 2 in an hour. But that's too far and its dangerous at night. So, another lesson is to buy more books else the discounts not to offset the transport cost.
Start reading again with this book. Total damage was RM 92.
