The World Cup happens once every 4 years. As always, a lot of amusing and surprises events happen each time.
It has been a good World Cup for me. So far my expectations has been correct about 80%. Too bad I am not a punter, but if I bet, I may have lost as well..hehe.
Started this WC by supporting Spain and Argentina, adding Germany as 3rd favorite when noticed they have an attacking game. And also a youthful squad, every FM manager likes a young squad...hehe. With Argentina out and Spain looking still edgy, Germany is my top favourite right now. Spain pretty much relies on Villa and Iniesta to score while German goals has been coming from Klose, Podolski, Muller and Ozil.
To be honest, used to like England and Italy as well. But after reviewing them, didn't expect much of them. As usual I never like the French and expected them to tapao ASAP. Portugal is not really top notch. Ronaldo can't win a game on his own and as you see they only scored against North Korea. Dunga's Brazil team is medicore really, and he brings Kleberson and Gilberto Silva to WC??? Oh well, let's move on.
Another nice thing about this WC is the chance to watch it with a bunch of good friends. Watching the matches with friends and having beer is a good way to enjoy. My friend was buying Tiger beers to take the TigerFC World Cup ball souvenir. Another way to enjoy was watching the 10pm matches at mamak follow by gaming at cyber then the 230am matches again. Simply a blast!! Too bad for friends who lost the bets...haha.
Only four matches left...looking forward to the Spanish Armada against Germany Blitzkrieg!!
