When I was young, I find myself oblivious of the roads around KL. Some friends and others would often know the road around KL or the road to other states. Me myself have no idea how to drive there though I was of legal age to drive.
But now after doing this job for quite a while now, I think I know around 80% of Klang Valley roads. At least, I never got lost before..hehe. And have a penchant for finding cheap parking place. I always plan my route, know which part of the road will be jam at what time and calculate cost effective and time saving way to reach there.
Tried a new highway called DUKE today that link to Duta Toll. I entered from MRR2 where the banner says 8.5mins to reach Bangsar, NKVE, Damansara etc. Didn't list a time to reach Duta toll but I think should be same. I took 10mins to reach Duta toll travelling at 100km/h. Paid RM 2, considered ok cost since its about 15km.
From there, I went to a remote part in Perak somewhere near Tualang. Then drop by Ipoh for my second customer. Basically is a routine job. Just need to do it to earn some money from milleage and also to take back a notepad I left in Ipoh back in March. Luckily, the maintenance guy kept it for me..hehe.
With this job and the days I spent in Perlis, my expenses for my Siam Reap travel is pretty much recouped..haha.
