Football Manager

Note: Too bored on a Saturday night

To most football fans, they will know that the curent football season is ending soon. As a MU fan, I am definitely dissapointed that we didn't win UCL this season. I have to agree MU lost to a better team that night. Some think we only lost a game or a Cup. But the implications in my view are far greater because:

1. In 10 years, MU only reach the final twice and won UCL twice, hardly the making of a true European Champion.

2. By losing, MU is not consider the top team in Europe because they fail to dominate UCL. Teams like Liverpool, Milan have won between 5-7 times although some is in old format. MU only 3.

3. Unable to create history to be the 1st to defend the UCL, to achieve that again they need to win twice in a row and before other teams can do the same.

Winning the World Club and English League Cup are still good, but pale in comparison with the UCL. Its a top club ultimate aim to win the domestice league title and UCL every season. SAF is a perfectionist because no matter how much he's achieved, there's more to accompish. This is what a true football manager do but he will sigh that his side failed to achieve more on the continental stage. IT IS SERIOUSLY DAMN IMPORTANT TO BE THE BEST IN EUROPE.

Now back to my favourite game, FM, where I just won the Serie A with Fiorentina, a side with players with lots of potential.

Serie A champion, time to aim for UCL next season?

Rivas, my central defender is 2nd highest scorer with 15 goals. Cost only 875k. 99% of his goals are headers from corner kicks..lol
