Wear Armani, Eat Roti

In the business world, one always try very hard to get the most for a buck. Some buyers will try very hard to squeeze and negotiate for a cheaper price. There are people who always want to buy a RM 2 item for RM 1.

However our government is very different. Very chariatable bunch. They can offer RM 500 mil for a RM 100 mill thing and won't mind buying something for RM 500 which in reality only cost RM 10. They are ever willing contribute towards helping the sellers.

And then there are those people who always seem so rich. Drives a Ferrari, eat at swanky restaurants and buys highly priced branded items. They do it because they can, as long as they can. Funnily, the lower class people tries to emulate them to a degree. Some young men will gladly pay RM 1000+ installment per month or being smart streching the loan period to 9 years just to drive that Civic or Camry. I guess they can't differentiate between liability and asset yet. Perhaps they also think that by wearing a Raoul shirt, they can make more money than wearing a Van Heussen. And some try very hard to spent most of their monthy paycheck on a Gucci or a LV bag before they realized, 'Shit, I need 2 month salary for that'.
Others think they are enjoying life by dining at hotels or being seen partying at some newly open clubs, which gives them VIP passses. Before they exclaimed having the best meal of the day, maggi goreng at wee hours in the morning.
Now, there are those who have high earning power yet seems don't have any money. I quote an example, a country manager who drives Iswara, use Nokia 3310 and looks like a normal non-executive staff. Ok, I lied, one more example, the general sales manager, who eat Hup Seng biscuits for lunch, drives a Saga and use Nokia 1110. Where are all their money? Probably in the big house they live in, in the banks or all saved up for their family.
Well, money makes the world go round. Without it, the world will come to a complete stop. So what you wanna do with your next paycheck is entirely up to you. Hmm, maybe I should get a new PDA? Oh damn, I forgot I need to pay my credit card bills.

hehe, sorry to say i kinda join the crowd :p

im upgrading my office attires to crocodiles, john masters and smallto. i used to wear pasar malam rm10 shirts BUT NOT anymore! im wearing rm29 crocs, rm25 john masters and rm27 smalltos :p

you got to know where to get stuff, i sure as hell can't tell the difference between a real croc or john master by touch or outlook, to me the cloth is FAR more softer than my rm10 shirts and it feels much better being in them so paying up to 3 times of what i paid before, i suppose you can say that its money better spent :)

to date, the most expensive thing i wear to work is my shoes :p this is something which cheap things cannot stand the test of time, got myself a hush puppies last year and its still great without much wear and tear, sigh should have combined all the money i spend on dr cardin's or others which cost rm99 to buy a 3 times more expensive hush puppies for long lasting shoes =_=.

i think he might be referring to the extreme... with your paycheck, a pair of hush puppies shoes won't do much damage :p
