One weekend ago some friends wanted to go for makan makan. Maybe at Melaka, Ipoh or Penang.
I listed my preffered place as Penang, Ipoh and Melaka. They went to the Melaka which I didn't follow. Later on that week, supervisor suddenly ask me go Penang, if I don't want to go, he will go. Since I haven't been out for a while, more like I needed the money, so I said I'll go.
But too bad, the morning I started to drive to Penang already can feel the uneasiness in my throat. The dreaded sorethroat is coming. Kinda spoil the mood liao.
Stayed one night in Penang, but can't eat anything else than kuey teow soup. Collegue ask to go for supper but me don't feel well, tired so went to bed at 10pm.
No Oh Chien, No Asam Laksa, No Hokkien Mee, No Char Kuey Teow!! :(
And the next day I am going to Ipoh too. Finished my task around lunch time. And I also only eat the Hor Fun recommended by friend. I dun like 'Kai Si' so I asked for chicken pieces. The kopitiam girl there quite leng lui btw..haha.
Too bad cannot drink White Coffee :(
Oh, the irony go to land of food but cannot eat anything...haha.

cy, I guess penang and ipoh is one of the time i will eat kuey teow teng when I'm not sick. Did eat duck mee soup for dinner..haha.
