First of all, I don't what the '60' represent here. I am aware of this awareness campaign when it started in Sydney. Sounds cool I guess. Switch off the light sounds easy. Wonder if there is any social repurcussions from this action. ;)
So more countries are going to participate. Will I do my part? Maybe.
I am thinking to switch off the computer too. But probably gonna use laptop that time and continue surfing online..haha. I probably will turn on the air con too depending on the weather.
The point is just to create awareness not save the earth. :P That requires much much more effort.
Hitz.FM have been busy endorsing this campaign. So I wonder what will the rest of the government really do? And at what cost?
As for Malaysia, knowing our govt, probably our moolahs will eventually end up inside some big guy pocket for safekeeping.
edit: i just realize 60=60 minutes, which is one hour. Not sure am I correct, but wouldn't 1 Earth Hour sound better???
