2008 is coming to an end soon. December is already here. Somehow, for many, this year seems a quick one, perhaps its because of many things happened to them, to the world etc etc or some other unknown reason.
This year, I learn the true meaning of two important Chinese proverbs loosely transalated as:
1. Good horse don't eat back return grass( Hou Ma Bat Sik Wui Tou Chou)
2. If you run quick, the world is good (Jao Tak Fai, Hou Sai Kai)
For me, I came to realize, that often we don't fully understand why certain happens in that way till that time has passed. That's why we learn from history I suppose. Only after reaching a point in life with enough experience, we will be able to understand what and why has it happened like that in the past.
Sometimes what we thought was good, end up being bad. The decisions we made were wrong and we need to accept that. There is no way to change it or go back in time and choose again. We can regret but its not going to help. As a human, I probably made a lot of mistakes and decision. Of course, if I have the foresight, I wouldn't have. I can only try to do what I thought was the good at that time. I guess a lot more of mistakes and decisions will be made in the future..haha. I am blabbering away withouth much point.
Maybe I can put up a better post on these lessons the next time.
