We all love to eat, don't we? Some people eat 3 times a day, some eat 5 times a day and some eat all the time. After a session of badminton, my ex-collegue ask me, 'What to eat around here? We tasted almost everything liao'. I told her I do not know, because in my mind, all the food available around there, they already have eaten. As for myself, I decided to go home makan since I don't want to think about what to eat..haha. I have no money to eat anyway.
I think it happens to everyone and will always come to a point asking 'what to eat' once they have always ate around the same area. My family and me normally just eat out every weekend also face the problem of 'what to eat?'. I wonder how those who always eat out and seldom cook people handles this problem? Your feedback is appreciated.
I guess the issue of 'what to eat' consist of two factor mostly, location and budget. Too far, it becomes costly to go and due to logistic problem. Too expensive, some can't afford to eat or not suit everyone taste buds. I think if this two factors are not in the calculation anymore, then we can really eat anything or whatever we want. I mean, some people always organise makan trips to certain town just to savour whatever good food there is. Some balik kampung just to makan all the hometown foods which they have been missing for so loooong.
Even during puasa month, majority of the eateries organise buffet spread for those who have a large appetite. I think they spent more for food during Ramadhan than other months..hehe. We can see that in certain issues, when location and budget are solved, we ate a lot more. So, is it not true we live to eat? But of course, people will give the reason once in while, nevermind lor. But the Chinese has quite a few sayings regarding eating. After all, who can resist the smell of delicious food and the chance to savour them whenever the oppurtunity arises..hehe.
But I guess for those who cook at home, will ask themselves, 'what to cook today leh?'
