Fantasy -> Mystery -> Horror -> Thriller -> Motivational
Mostly interested in reading non-fiction these days compare to fiction as before. After all, I read too much fiction books last time I think.
However, contrary to popular belief, I hate reading work related books i.e books which requires me to take exam or certifications..haha. I totally feel like sleeping after a few pages of these Cisco study guide books. Even though reading or rather studying these books will enhance my career and also add to my bonus and salary. I rather just work. I guess caused ever since finishing college, realized that most of the stuff I study are not really useful in my working life. I prefer doing pratical work I can see and touch.
But given the chance, I probably feel like studying business, finance or economics caused I read the business news lately regarding the US financial crisis and can't understand about the terms they used..hehe.
Actually, reading is not good. At least not good enough, because there is a Chinese proverb that sounds like this 'Rather than read a thousands books, better walk a million miles road.' (trans: 'tuk man chin shu bat yi hang man lei lou' learnt from watching TVB's 'Kin Juk Yao Cheng Tin')
So, walk or rather travel more to be exact, so that you see more things, learn more and experience life more...hehe.
