Recently has an oppurtunity to attend my first ever Catholic Church Wedding, just to see how a church wedding is normally done. Now, here's the differences I noticed.
Church Wedding + Dinner
1. solemn and serious.
2. always have prayers follow by hymns about an hour.
3. dinner consist of speeches by groom's dad, bride's dad, bestman, groom and bride.
4. dinner is done in orderly manner.
Chinese Wedding + Dinner
1. noisy and funny during fetching bride time.
2. ceremony is quite long sometimes.
3. dinner consist of much yum seng and karaoke.
4. dinner always start late, end late.
I don't mind attending any type of wedding because at weddings, most signifcantly is that everyone is happy.
