Now We Can Fly Kite!!

HSBC run a promotion called 'Guaranteed to Fly' where they will give you a 'free flight return ticket' to Singapore via Jetstar after you did 7 swipes with your credit card in a particular period. So for the fun of it I registered as the SMS only cost RM 0.30 to participate. For more info please click here. Of course, I have read all the FAQs and T & C before this. Actually the only reason I joined is to see whether I can get the so called 'free flight'.
But let's compare the prices first between Double A and Bintang Jet.

Not much different except the original ticket price for Double A is RM9+9 and for Bintang Jet is RM 8 + 19. So those extra charges is about 12X the ticket price..hehe. But this is not the point.

Now, let's see the term and conditions.

If you managed to read it, you will noticed you need to pay around RM 289 for those extra charges. Use your calculators, and you will realize that HSBC is sponsoring you RM 27 for your free flight....hahaha. What a good deal eh?
And yes, I am so happy, got the notification today from HSBC that I am entitled to it. But all this happiness can't be compared to the sad fact, I didn't win the RM 15 million Toto jackpot. :(

ps: Air Asia just starting to offer new flights to Melbourne, Australia. Just checked, cheapest total is about RM 1072.00...hehe.
