My story for my friends ^_^

I have thought for quite sometime on how to write this. It was made more difficult by the fact is true and it was particulary a very low end point of my life. It was hard telling my parents too, but was really glad about the support their provided. But now I feel like sharing with my friends, especially those I know more than 10+ years friends. I guess maybe you guys/gals should know.

Did you know, I nearly got married last year actually. Thankfully or tragically, depends how you look at it, I didn't obviously, as it was cancelled in early 2007. The wedding dinner was set to be somewhere around October 2007. Having visited almost all Tai Thong Restaurants in Klang Valley finally booked one available along Jalan Bukit Bintang.

However, the marriage was cancelled due to, let's just say, lack of love between us. A number of complications arises, mistakes made and after failing to solve, so decided to end the relationship.

So, after cancelling and overcoming the issue of being sad and emotionally disturbed, came to the issue of what to do with the deposit on the wedding dinner and bridal photograpy. At first, the restaurant mentioned they cannot do anything because no one has booked on that date and for some reasons, don't let us have a few tables either with the paid-up RM3k deposit.

So, me and my mum decided to lodge a report at the Consumer Tribunal Court as we have a legit case. The Tribunal give us a report to pass to the restaurant and to inform them the date to appear in the court. About 2-3 weeks later before we are due to go to court, the restaurant informed that someone has booked the restaurant and we can used our deposit to have dinner there...haha. So this issue was settled and we held a few tables for dinner with our relatives near the Mooncake Festival.

As for the RM 1k deposit on bridal photography, this cannot be refund and the person in charge informed that I can still used the deposit after 2-3 years for any photography session. I am not sure if I am ever gonna use it or the bridal shop will still be around...haha.

Oh yeah, the house, perhaps it will be a good investment in the end. Already renting it out.

Well, past is past, now going to dwell much on it. What I can say is, I have learnt a lot from it and it was a really good experience in life. At least I know most of the things need to prepare for marriage liao..wahahaha.

Anyway, as I realize many times, when you have overcome the hardest, you will not be afraid to take on new challenges that comes your way. You'll find yourself stronger and better equip to deal with harder matters that will always come your life.

life is a roller coaster as sung by Ronan Keating?

there are ups and downs in life, i too have first hand feeling. the disappointment of a relationship gone south due to unforeseen circumstances are really heartbreaking.

what can't break you can only make you stronger. :)
