Everyone still craves for donuts from J.CO untill now. My first J.CO treat is given by the vendor. No need to queue up at all. For me, the taste is same as the Big Apple. I am still mystified by the fact that Malaysians likes to eat donuts?? Haven't they see enough American movies where the cops are fat because of eating too much donuts?? Neverless, sweet and sugary concotions are hard to resist. Another successful attempt to create more fat people in the world.
Malaysians despite the fact of rising prices on consumer goods and inflation increases, still can afford to eat this all the time. Look at the queue at this outlet each day. Year after year, cars increases on the road. No matter how 'fast' JKR tries to expand the road, it still get filled from bumper to bumper. Houses are mushrooming everywhere. High class condominiums are filling the void between office buildings. Surely that means there are many rich people around?? No doubt there are a number of high income earners out there, who probably spend almost as much as there are able to earn.
The number of designer labels available in Malaysia nowdays must have risen at least hundred fold compare to a few decades ago. Judging by packed malls each weekend, it would seem that the average Malaysian too have enough buying power to be able to visit all these malls sprouting up recently. Yet the economic is going into recession, the markets have fallen much. But society are still booming, people are spending, and the party rages on. So why complain? Is it because the humans are a dissatisfied lot and never have enough? How many out there, do really work hard and take their life seriously? Most are hypocrites really.
What's the point of these really? No point, just that I realized most people are hypocrites!! Oh well, we are modernizing globally and spending on credit where many of us doesn't realize the number of methods to save or make money have not keep up with our expenditure.
