Company annual dinner held at oneWorld Hotel Ballroom 2 yesterday. Theme is Oscar Night.
So, would expect most people to dress elegant and stylish for the event. Well, not everyone. Most can only be categorized as formal. Maklumlah, sini bukan Hollywood..eh eh apasal BM pulak. :X There are probably like 5-7 hot looking people..
In Ballroom 1 & 3 were other company's event. One was a Wild Wild West Theme and the other a Masquare Party I think. Come to think of it company ask to vote the theme earlier last month. Now I think is the hotel suggested to our company actually...haha.
However the big difference is the other two have the booze and girls. Our company have 80% guys, 10% married women and 10% others..kekeke. It really sucks to know other company have 80% girls. My collegues and I keep drooling on the other side while we were hanging outside the ballroom. And no booze. The Wild Wild West Party keep 'yum seng' throughout the night.
Pretty ordinary taste 6 course Western style dinner. Nothing to shout about.
Only 3 lucky draw prizes..lol. Company did hand like 25 or so Oscar awards to oustanding performing employee for various categories, best salesman, best project manager, best supporting supporter, best engineer, best project/sales/engineering team etc to make it simple for you all to understand. Unfortunately, there is no award for best newcomer..lol.
Didn't win anything. Bet my boss will be asking our team to get 1-2 awards next year..haha.
Went to watch midnight movie 'I am Legend' with my collegues...haven't done that quite some time. Pretty ok, could be better.
Went back to office later to take the notebook home around 2am. Decided to work a bit with my collegue to create IDs..lol. Reached home at 3.00am and slept like half an hour later.
Perhaps I should get a 'Best Kuli Award'.
