Do you know what you want?

I had a long conversation about 30 minutes today with a 'very leng chai' collegue about our job. He was lamenting about the job and pouring all the frustation on work out. I felt the same way and understand what he is going through. Basically I am frustated myself and feeling tired of it already even though I am only 2 months plus in the company. He already there 3 years and have company shares worth over 100k probably by now...lol.

He's working in the 'Desktop Support' department and face many problems with the PCs each day. Mind you, his team is handling like 700 PCs for that customer alone. 80% of his problem come from the same customer, Stimx..which is similiar for my department as well. Supporting them is truly a nightmare. To be frank, anything from Tmnut is a nightmare.

So in the midst of our conversation, actually more like him talking and me listening...haha, I ask him something like 'what do you want or what kind of job you want'..

He told me 'he do not know what he want, but he knows what he don't want'. I was amuse and give it some thought cause he is right. Its really ironic. But I bet many people probably feel the same way too. Interestingly, they probably aware of what they don't want, but somehow they always end up getting it. It is weird that we cannot know what we want even though we know what we don't want because there are always thing we mislook or miscalculated along the way. But there are also cases of people knowing what they want, but not doing the right things to get it. Or they give up in the middle. You can't blame anyone on that..

Sometimes they thought that is what they want, but when they get it, they don't want it. It happens all the time. Many people do not know what are they seeking until its too late or after a few miscues, finally realize what they want.

Haihhh..all I can say life is not perfect. We all make mistakes along the way. That's why we are here on Earth.

And what I really want now is.....get a new job.. LMAO :X

Hope you all know what you want.

Change is a constant to us. We change because we need to adapt to new environment, we learn from experience, we change our goals & ....
However, we may want to look at our life as half full glass instead of half empty glass. It makes us alot happier.

Hope you get what you want =)
