Personally, I think not. Reading yes but not books. The advent of eBooks, mean slow death for books, as evident by lousy sales in most book chains, even Borders has gone bankrupt because of eBooks emergence.
For me also same, do most of my reading on my Android phone or my PC/laptop when online. I know a colleague who bough eBooks costing hundreds for her kids on Ipad. I seldom read books now, but I just bought some at Popular Bookfest mainly because got discount and can claim tax. Else, I normally just buy magazines since they don't have discount.
Only recent years, I learned is better to buy books during bookfest or warehouse sale since its much cheaper and save money.
Lack of reading books, also my interest in reading change with times. Here's how it goes..
1. Mystery/crime novels (Enid Blyton Famous Five, Agatha Christie, Hardy Boys etc) - 10-16years old
2. Thrillers-war novels (Tom Clancys', naval warfare novels etc) - 17-24 yrs old
3. Thrillers/Relationship (Dan Browns', John Gray. Mitch Albom etc) -24-26 yrs old
4. Politics/History/Economics (China things, The Economic Naturalist, Freakanomics etc) - 27-28 yrs old
5. Economics/Android/Tech [Super Freakonomics, Wikinomics, Microtrends, Android Police, Android Central, Engadget, GSMArena, Lifehacker, Bloomberg, Business Insider (all online sites I read almost daily)] - 29++
So yeah, basically now is reading on economics and Android things related, hoping to catch up with all tech news and making some money too if I can.
Reading needs to move on with time too..
